4. Sharing your data for flight delay claims
Where you submit your details through our flight delay compensation form and provide your consent, we will share your personal data with Copious Ltd (company number 11437826), whose registered office is at 2A Crown Business Park, Cowm Top Lane, Rochdale, Greater Manchester, OL11 2PU, trading at Copious.co.uk. Copious Ltd is registered with the ICO (ZA453238) and is part of Copious Group Ltd (company number 13308502).
What data we share
We share the following categories of personal data: your name, date of birth, email address, telephone number, postal address, and flight details (airline, flight number, departure and arrival airports, date of travel, and nature and duration of delay).
Why we share it
We share your data so that Copious Ltd can assess whether you are eligible for flight delay compensation under EC Regulation 261/2004 and, if eligible, progress your claim through their legal panel.
Who handles your claim
Copious Ltd works with regulated legal panel firms to handle flight delay compensation claims on your behalf. Once Copious Ltd has assessed your eligibility, your data may be passed to a solicitor or legal services firm on their panel to pursue your claim. The identity of the legal panel firm handling your claim will be confirmed to you before your claim proceeds. Regulatory status: Flight delay compensation claims under EC Regulation 261/2004 are not regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA). Although Copious Ltd may be FCA-authorised in respect of other claims management activities, the handling of your flight delay claim is not an FCA-regulated activity.
What is our legal basis for sharing
We share your data on the basis of your consent (Article 6(1)(a) UK GDPR). You provide this consent through the tick box on our claims form. You can withdraw your consent at any time by contacting us at info@click2claim.co.uk or by contacting Copious Ltd directly at info@copious.co.uk.
How long we keep your data
We retain a record of your consent and the personal data shared for 6 years from the date you submitted your details. This reflects standard legal limitation periods. Copious Ltd's retention of your data is governed by their own privacy policy and any applicable regulatory requirements.
Your rights

Data security
Your data is transferred securely via API. We do not transfer personal data by unencrypted email. We require Copious Ltd to process your personal data in accordance with applicable data protection law, including the UK GDPR. We have a written data sharing agreement in place with Copious Ltd that governs the security, handling, and permitted use of your personal data.
Sharing your data with Pockla Ltd
Where you give your explicit consent via the partner communications checkbox on our form, we will also share your personal data with Pockla Ltd. Pockla is a trading name of Pockla Ltd. 5. Marketing Communications

Where you give your consent via the marketing checkbox on our form, we may contact you by email or SMS about similar legal claims and consumer services. You can withdraw your consent at any time by:

- Replying STOP to any SMS

We will action your opt-out request within 48 hours.
Marketing from Copious Ltd, its legal panel, and Pockla Ltd
Where you give your explicit consent via the partner communications checkbox on our form, the following parties may contact you by email and telephone about your flight delay claim and other claims you may be eligible for:
- Copious Ltd and its legal panel partners (in connection with your claim and other claims you may be eligible for)
- Pockla Ltd (about claims and consumer services you may be eligible for)
This consent is entirely optional and does not affect your flight delay claim. You can withdraw it at any time by contacting us at info@click2claim.co.uk, or by contacting the relevant company directly.
Note: The form uses three separate tick boxes: (1) consent to share data with Copious for claim assessment (required to proceed); (2) consent to receive marketing from GMS Leads / Click2Claim (optional, off by default); (3) consent to receive communications from Copious, its panel, and Pockla Ltd (optional, off by default). None of the optional boxes are pre-ticked or bundled together.
6. Data Retention
We retain your personal data as follows:
Claim data
Retained for up to 6 years from the date of submission to reflect legal limitation periods, after which it is securely deleted.
Marketing contact data
Retained for up to 24 months from your last interaction. If you do not engage within this period, we will remove you from our marketing list.
Technical and analytics data
Retained for up to 12 months.
7. Your Rights
Under UK GDPR, you have the right to:

- Request correction of inaccurate or incomplete data
- Request deletion of your data (subject to legal obligations)
- Restrict or object to our processing of your data

9. Important Information
Flight delay compensation claims are not regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA). You can make a claim directly to the airline or through the Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) free of charge.
GMS Leads Limited will not charge you for our service. You do not need to use a claims management company to make a claim. You have the right to seek redress for free.
If your claim is taken on by a legal panel firm through Copious Ltd, they may charge a success fee or percentage of your compensation. The fee structure will be confirmed to you in writing before you enter into any agreement with the legal panel firm, and you will have a 14-day cooling-off period during which you can cancel without charge.
